Welcome to The Manse in Reeth, Swaledale.
We have three ensuite rooms. All are large, high-ceilinged, beautifully appointed rooms and we offer a selection of teas and coffee with fresh milk and cookies. The shower rooms have heated towel rails and digital showers. Complimentary toiletries are provided.
The village of Reeth is overlooked by the fells of Fremington Edge and Calver Hill. It is situated at the meeting point of the two most northerly of the Yorkshire Dales: Swaledale and Arkengarthdale.
Some lovely words…
Wow, these folks were so welcoming after a long hard hike that day! They went out of their way to offer assistance. Laundry was done in no time at all, neatly folded and delivered to the door. Excellent eggs Florentine for breakfast and delicious cake and tea on arrical.
Kim and Mike, the owners, were so accommodating. We were offered homemade lemon drizzle cake (I need the recipe!) and tea on arrival, a lovely extra touch. And then the breakfast! The full English is a must, fantastic quality and cooked perfectly.
Stayed only one night with a group of friends just when they opened. Super nice people, great food, very hospitable. Better than expected. Rooms where lovely, cake was a nice touch, had a decent pub meal in town.
